Cure for OCD

Okay, I can be a little OCD, especially when working with oils. I have been diligently working on a series of wild bird paintings. These little 5 x 7 paintings make me smile and also grit my teeth when I look at them. I spent countless hours on each one trying to get them “just right”. I decided I needed a break, a break from painting nose hairs in the noses of tiny birds! A break from taking off my glasses so I can see to paint. So I broke out the acrylics and went wild! It’s “Cucadoo Time”. It’s a species I invented. They are seagull’s flashy distant cousins. This painting was fun, liberating, and I didn’t even have to take off my glasses! It was so much fun in fact, that I have started another.
